About me

Mike Sobczinski — Embedded developer by passion, running Bastelix-Lab as a side business.
Who I am

I work shifts and do IoT development on the side — not because I have to, but because it's my passion. For years I've been building my own projects: LoRa sensor networks, BLE gateways, real-time dashboards, smart home integrations. Everything shown here runs in real production at my home.

I know the problems that come up when tinkering — because I've had them myself. That's exactly why I can help: I speak your language and understand what you need.

What I do
ESP32 Firmware
C++, PlatformIO, Arduino
LoRa & BLE
SX1262, NimBLE, AES
MQTT & IoT
Mosquitto, Home Assistant
Web-Dashboards
Node.js, React, WebSocket
For whom

My services are aimed at private individuals, makers and hobby electronics enthusiasts. If you have an ESP project at home, are tinkering with your smart home, or have an idea for a sensor node and are stuck, I am the right contact.

Why Bastelix-Lab

You won't get a generic agency solution from me, but code from someone who tinkers himself. I work directly with you — short paths, honest communication, fair prices. And everything I build is battle-tested.

Honest note — Bastelix-Lab is a hobby
I run Bastelix-Lab alongside my main job as a shift worker in the semiconductor industry. Delivery times in the service packages are guidelines, not enterprise SLAs. If you need industry standards with guaranteed response times, I am not the right provider — but for hobby projects and private customers, this is exactly why I can work fairly and personally.
